Buttons, seams, snaps, oh my! Learn hand sewing skills for finishing or mending your own garments. Working on a fabric sampler, we will cover sewing buttons (with and without shanks-did you even know of such a thing?), snaps, hooks and eyes/bars. If time allows, we will also learn some stitches that make for the best hem and seam mending. *Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite sewing kit if you have one.
