My love for baking has developed over many, many years. I have been a sugar connoisseur my entire life—just ask my sweet tooth! It all started when I made my own wedding cake which then turned into making cupcakes for all my friends and families’ special occasions. Fast forward to the early 90’s, decorated sugar cookies caught my eye and not just cookies with sprinkles on them but adorable little works of art. As I started bringing these more intricate cookies to work, my coworkers in health care started asking me to make cookies for their special occasions as well. As my baking obsession grew, I wanted a cookie that was not only cute but was equally delicious. After many failed attempts, I have finally perfected my favorite almond sugar cookie ever! I am always taking classes from the greats in the cookie world and attending cookie conferences to learn the new techniques and tricks.
