My buttons have fallen and can’t get up! Learn hand sewing skills for mending your own garments in a pinch. Working on a fabric sampler, we will cover sewing buttons (with and without shanks- did you even know of such a thing?), snaps, and hooks and eyes/bars. *Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite sewing kit if you have one.

Valerie St.Pierre Smith has been captivated with making and creating since a young age, and has been designing and teaching costumes and fashion for over 25 years. Mom of three teens (including twins!), they inspire her to upcycle and find lasting ways to ensure that our next generations inherit a still beautiful world.
